We want you to connect to RAW at our hour-long breakfast tours. Have breakfast on us, where you will learn about RAW's history and programs, take a tour of RAW's building, and view art by RAW artists, including the current Something from Nothing exhibit.
These events are free of charge, and last 1 hour.
Please RSVP if you will be attending to erin@rawartworks.org.
Creativity, like other skills, is learned and can be cultivated. This workshop will give participants access to habits that will build creativity.
During this three-day workshop at his studio in Newton and here at RAW space, attendees will learn equipment basics and shooting and editing techniques. Peter will lead a series of lectures, photo exercises, critiques, and discussions. Participants should come ready to shoot and be prepared to talk about what direction they want to take their photography.
The course will be augmented by lots of photo-taking, a reading list, a resource directory for artists, and what is sure to turn into a series of howlingly funny creative disasters! The workshop will culminate with an informal jury of the “best” shots from the weekend -- with prizes!
Peter’s work has been published internationally in books and in magazines.
He travels and exhibits extensively. The National Endowment for the Arts and the Graham Foundation have supported Peter’s work, and he has received Institute Honors from the American Institute of Architects.
Cost: $1,000
Proceeds from this workshop will support RAW’s programming!
