Delizia Bouafi

Finance Manager

Delizia began her career in home health care, supporting senior citizens and helping deliver essential services across Massachusetts. As a senior member of the Operations Team at a statewide agency with over 600 employees, she led the team responsible for accounting and payroll.

Seeking new challenges, she transitioned into investment management, joining the global quantitative equities team and managing portfolios for institutional clients. Midway through her career, Delizia made a deliberate decision to focus exclusively on non-profit institutions—a choice that proved to be the most fulfilling chapter of her professional journey. Working with mission-driven organizations allowed her to build meaningful relationships and steward donor gifts in ways that honored philanthropic intent. She also presented at regional and national planned giving conferences, sharing best practices to help charities manage investments responsibly and effectively.

Beyond her professional work, Delizia has always prioritized giving back. She has volunteered for many years in a wide range of roles—from reading to third graders in Boston public schools, to supporting battered women’s shelters, to providing administrative help at weekend Arabic schools.

A first-generation college graduate, Delizia earned her Bachelor of Science in Finance from Bentley University, putting herself through school while working full-time and part-time jobs She joined the team at RAW in 2024, bringing with her a deep commitment to service, community, and purpose-driven work.
