Art Therapist

Helen is an art therapist and artist from Upstate New York. In 2016 Helen received a B.F.A. in Fine Arts from Rochester Institute of Technology. While studying for her B.F.A. she became passionate about using art to process and make sense of the world around her. Her love for combining creativity with mental health led her to receive a Master’s in Creative Arts Therapy from Nazareth College in 2019. Helen has training in play therapy and trauma therapy and incorporates these ideologies into her work as an art therapist. As an artist, Helen enjoys experimenting with a variety of media, making interactive art, and loves to use collage, fabrics, drawing, and painting. Helen’s work seeks to challenge norms and expectations, use humor, and explore new ways to use materials.

Helen has been a team member at RAW since 2021.
