Samantha Adams

Art Therapist

Sam is an art therapist and artist from the North Shore. She studied art therapy and mental health counseling starting in 2013 and received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Lesley University in 2020. She has been trained in grief counseling and bereavement theory and takes a person-centered approach to therapy. She has used art therapy with children, adolescents, and teens as a form of self-expression, connection, and healing. She believes in the power of art therapy, metaphor, and meaning-making. As an artist, she has used a multitude of media, with an emphasis on mixed media book-making, acrylic painting, and watercolor painting.

Samantha joined the team at RAW in 2021.
